On a new adventure in Svalbard and went for a dog sledding trip in the mountains. Awesome fresh snow and great experience. Such a great way of traveling on the snow and one gets so close to nature. Just the dogs barking and the wind in your face.

May these beautiful animals survive the human onslaught and hope that humanity come to its senses.
STOP hunting these animals!!!!!
STOP the exploitation of their horns for nothing more then selfish obsessive insanity.
STOP the cruel butchery for pure personal greed at the expense of the these majestic relics
Big or small there are many wonderful inhabitants in Namibia and during my journey through this arid land, I got many of them in front of my lens. Having been to Namibia many times this time again I have been lucky with all the wonderful encounters I had.
The dolphins mass in their thousands to hunt the sardines when they are moving up the coast to warmer waters. If you are in the right place at the right time the dolphins will come by to have a look and give you a smile.
To often they have to take the backseat to their big cousins and the eagle rays are forgotten when the mantas are around. But they are such graceful formation flyers with super cute faces. How can one not love these adorable acrobats of the ocean?
This year the mantas are congregating in large numbers again and it looks like we will have a great season again with these majestic giants. They have been around for some weeks now and hopefully will stay for a while. Then when one catches them with the right conditions around one can get some spectacular images. Even though they are so big they are so gentle and curious and love to come close to the divers. One can just never get enough.
These majestic, agile and stealthy predators are one of my favourite cats. Although they are smaller than most other members of the cat family, they are able to take large prey due to their massive skulls that facilitate powerful jaw muscles. They are also able to hoist large prey up trees and are amazingly strong for their size.
Leopards are just such beautiful animals and are very shy and secretive hunters. Not always easy to see and this time I was lucky to see a kill by one of the male leopards. Amazing the speed they posses to catch their prey and what large leaps they can perform to surprise their prey.
With the abundance of the wild life in the Etosha park, there is a lot of food for the predators of the pan.
The Lions as the kings of the cats, have adapted to the environment perfectly and are thriving in the bush around the Etosha pan.
There is no better place then to gaze into the sky then in the desert. With no outside light source for many miles around one can see the stars so vivid and alive like nowhere else.
The great landscape also makes an awesome foreground with some stunning effects.
Many of you have seen the Cheetah in the grass lands of Africa, but not so many have seen them in the desert. In Namibia I found them in the lush grass lands in the central parts of the country, where I was fortunate enough to follow them on their daily routines in the bush.
But then I managed to track them down in the desert in the south western parts of Namibia where one would not expect to find them. Due to the great conservation efforts of some courageous people their numbers are growing again in this harsh country side. What a sight to see them on the red dunes of the Namib.
Gathering of guitars on the house reef today and it totally rocked. One girl and three guys were gathering on the house reef for a session.
The guitar sharks came to visit and played on the house reef. Rushed off lunch time to go and have a look and enjoy the moment.
Looks like there is a gathering of Frog fish in the Lhaviyani Atoll and we are seeing them now all over the place. Today we found some nice ones on Anemone Thila. They are so well camouflaged and hide very well. But the good thing is that they are always somewhere in the same area and one can find them when one looks carefully.
The manta season has kick started early this year with some incredible action on the cleaning station.
Africa does have some of the most amazing sunsets on the planet.
